Certified in writing for Nissan collision repair — at both our Austin and Round Rock shops.

What the Nissan certification means

Nissan grants this certification directly against its own repair standards, and we hold it in writing alongside our Infiniti certification.

Nissan's range covers trucks, crossovers and sedans built very differently from one another, and the driver-assistance systems fitted across that range have to be recalibrated after collision work — a windshield or bumper replacement is no longer just glass and plastic. We handle the bodywork and the recalibration rather than sending you somewhere else to finish the job.

Every repair carries our Lifetime Written Warranty, and we are a State Farm Select Service shop that works with all major carriers. Estimates are free, and there is no obligation.

A Titan and a Rogue are not the same repair

Nissan's range spans body-on-frame trucks like the Titan and Frontier and unibody vehicles like the Rogue, Altima, Sentra and Pathfinder. On a truck the ladder frame carries the load and the body is bolted to it; on a unibody the panels and the structure are one thing. They are measured differently, they are repaired to different published procedures, and a shop that runs the same process across both will get one of them wrong.

Inside the unibody vehicles there is a second distinction that matters more than most owners realize. Modern shells mix ordinary steel with high-strength and ultra-high-strength grades in the same structure, and those grades have different published repair methods — some can be straightened, some must be sectioned or replaced, because heating or pulling them destroys the very property the manufacturer specified them for.

Driver-assistance systems are now part of collision work

A windshield or a bumper cover is no longer just glass and plastic. Depending on model and year, your Nissan may carry cameras behind the windshield, radar in the grille, and sensors in the bumpers and mirrors feeding automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping and blind-spot warning. Disturb the parts around them and the systems are reading the road from the wrong reference point.

Recalibration is a documented procedure with its own specifications, not a reset button. We do the bodywork and the recalibration here rather than finishing the panel and sending you to a third party to complete the job — and we document it for your insurer, because it is a legitimate part of the repair that gets left off estimates more often than it should.

What to expect, start to finish

We estimate and photograph the damage, get the claim opened with your insurer, then disassemble before committing to the final number. Hidden damage generally appears at disassembly rather than at the estimate, which is why the supplement — the revised figure we file with your insurer — is a normal part of a proper repair rather than a sign something went wrong.

From there: structural repair to Nissan's published tolerances if the vehicle needs it, panel and paint, reassembly, recalibration, then quality control before the car goes back to you. Every repair carries our lifetime written warranty. Estimates are free, at either shop, with no obligation.
