A damaged Sprinter is hard to place, because most shops cannot get one through the door. We repair and refinish them - standard and high roof, both wheelbases, extended body - and back the work with our Lifetime Written Warranty.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is the vehicle we get called about most often by people who have already been turned down somewhere else. The reason is almost never the damage. It is the height. A high-roof Sprinter stands a little over nine and a half feet tall, so a shop either has the door clearance to take it or the conversation ends on the phone.
Here are our numbers so you do not have to ask: our bay doors are 18 feet tall and our paint booth doors are 11 feet 6 inches tall. A high-roof Sprinter goes into the booth with close to two feet of daylight above the roof. That is the difference between a shop that can refinish your van properly and one that can only work on it outside, or send the panels away and hope the color comes back matching.

Which Sprinters We Take
Sprinter is one name covering a lot of very different vehicles. All of these are the same repair conversation to us:

What Makes a Sprinter Different to Repair
A Sprinter side is one enormous, gently curved panel. There is no body line to hide a blend in, the way there is on a sculpted car, so a refinish that would pass without comment on a sedan reads as a patch on a van. That is a paint-and-blend problem more than a bodywork problem, and it is the part shops most often get wrong.
The height changes the work as well as the fit. Roof, upper panel and high-roof damage needs the vehicle at a working height inside a building, not outside on a lot. Sliding-door tracks and rear barn-door hinges take load in a way a car door never does, so alignment after an impact matters more than it looks like it should - a door that shuts but binds will come back.
And the vehicle is usually working. A Sprinter is rarely somebody's second car. Where the van is drivable and safe, we will estimate from photos and order parts before it comes in, so it sits in our building for the repair rather than for the wait.

Vans are also the most likely vehicle to carry lettering, a wrap or graphics. Tell us at the estimate. Where the artwork has to come off for the repair, we note it in writing so putting it back is part of the plan and not a conversation at pickup.

Refinished On Site
Sprinter panels are large, flat and unforgiving. We refinish in our own downdraft booths rather than sending the work out, which keeps the color match and the finish under our control and under our warranty.
