Does Luxury Auto Body take Elephant Insurance?

Yes. We hold a direct repair relationship with Elephant at both our Austin shop, 8300 N Lamar Blvd Suite B102, and our Round Rock shop, 1001 Louis Henna Blvd, and we bill Elephant directly. Call (512) 986-7327 for Austin or (512) 572-5245 for Round Rock.

Can Elephant make me use one of their shops?

No. In Texas you choose the repair shop. An insurer may suggest one in its network but cannot require it, and steering you away from your chosen shop is prohibited under Texas law.

What will I have to pay?

In most cases your deductible and nothing else. We bill Elephant directly for the approved repair. Anything you ask us to do outside the claim is priced separately and agreed with you first.

Is the warranty different because of who is paying?

No. Every repair leaves with our lifetime written warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, whichever carrier is on the claim.

Direct billing, so the claim is not your second job

We work with Elephant regularly and bill them directly. The estimate, the photographs, the supplement and the approvals all move between us and the carrier — not through you, and not in evening phone calls you have to make from home.

In most cases the only payment you make is your deductible, at pickup.

You still choose the shop

In Texas the repair shop is your decision. Elephant can suggest a shop in its network, but it cannot require you to use one, and steering you away from the shop you chose is prohibited.

If you have already been given a list, you do not need to argue about it. Tell them the car is going to Luxury Auto Body and call us.

What the repair includes, regardless of carrier

Disassembly before the final number, so hidden damage is found and documented rather than guessed at. Repair to the manufacturer's published procedure for your model and year. Recalibration of any driver-assistance sensors the work disturbed — a windshield or bumper replacement is no longer just glass and plastic.

Then a lifetime written warranty, handed to you with the car, for as long as you own it. That is the same on an Elephant claim as on any other.
