A recommendation is not a requirement

This is the single most useful thing to know at the start of a claim. When an insurer gives you a list of shops, that is a suggestion. In Texas the shop is your decision, an insurer cannot require you to use one in its network, and steering you away from the shop you chose is prohibited.

You do not have to argue about it either. Tell the adjuster the car is going to Luxury Auto Body and call us — we deal with the rest directly, and the claim still gets paid.

What we handle so you do not have to

We work with Amica regularly and bill them directly. You bring the car in, we photograph and document the damage, and the paperwork goes from us to them rather than through you.

After disassembly we file a supplement for anything hidden that the estimate could not see — damage behind a bumper cover or inside a panel routinely turns up only once the car is apart. If your policy includes rental coverage we coordinate that through the claim so you are not stranded while the work happens.

The repair itself does not change with the carrier

Whoever is paying, the standard is the same: repair to the manufacturer's published procedure for your model and year, driver-assistance sensors recalibrated where the work disturbed them, and a lifetime written warranty handed to you with the vehicle.

We are certified in writing by twelve manufacturers, and we repair every other make as well. The carrier decides what is covered. It does not decide how the car gets put back together.
