Fleet Collision Repair in Austin, TX

When a work vehicle is in a body shop, the repair bill is rarely the expensive part. The lost days are. A fleet account exists to shorten that, and to stop you starting from scratch on every incident.

Luxury Auto Body works with Austin-area businesses that run anything from two vans to a yard full of them. The repair itself is the same certified collision work we do on a personal car. What changes for a business is everything around it: who authorizes the repair, how fast a vehicle gets back on the road, whether the claim is worth filing at all, and how the paperwork lands in your books.

This page is about that part. If you want the technical side - what we can physically fit, what we repair - start with our commercial and oversized vehicle page, or the Sprinter page if that is what you run.

To set something up, call (512) 986-7327 for Austin or (512) 572-5245 for Round Rock, Monday through Friday, and ask for a fleet account.

Do the Downtime Math Before the Repair Math

Most fleet owners can tell you what a repair costs and cannot immediately tell you what a day out of service costs. The second number is usually the bigger one. A service van that bills a few hundred dollars a day is a few hundred dollars a day whether it is being repaired or waiting for a part.

That single fact changes how a repair should be run. The goal is not the cheapest estimate, it is the fewest days the vehicle is unavailable - and those are different jobs. Most of the delay in a collision repair is not labor, it is waiting on parts and waiting on an insurer's approval. Both can be moved earlier.

Where a vehicle is drivable and safe, we estimate from photos, get the claim moving and order parts before you ever bring it in. The vehicle keeps working through the wait and comes in for the repair itself.

Should You Even File the Claim?

On a commercial policy this is a real question and it deserves an honest answer before anyone opens a claim. A small repair on a company vehicle can cost less than the deductible, and a claim history on a commercial auto policy follows the business into its next renewal in a way one incident on a personal policy often does not.

We will give you a written estimate either way, at no charge and with no obligation, so you can put an actual number against your deductible and decide. If it makes more sense to pay it directly, say so and we will handle it as a direct-pay repair. If filing is the right call, we bill your carrier directly.

We are not your insurance advisor and will not pretend to be one - your agent should weigh in on anything borderline. But you should not have to guess at the repair number while you decide.

How a Fleet Account Works

The point of an account is that the second incident does not start over from nothing. We hold your vehicle list, your billing details, and who is allowed to approve what.

  • One point of contact for estimates, approvals and invoicing, rather than a different service advisor each time
  • A standing authorization limit, so small repairs start without waiting on a signature
  • Photo estimates from the field, so a vehicle is not driven in just to be looked at
  • Direct billing to your insurer, or to the company on a direct-pay repair
  • Itemized estimates and invoices your bookkeeper can post without calling us
  • Scheduling around your calendar, so two vehicles are not out in the same week
  • The same Lifetime Written Warranty as any other repair we do

What We Need to Open One

This is deliberately light. Call either shop and ask for a fleet account, and give us the company name and billing contact, roughly what you run and how many, your insurer and policy contact if claims will be filed, who can approve a repair and up to what dollar amount, and where the vehicles live so we can plan around your routes.

Nothing here is a contract and there is no minimum. It is a file we keep so the next call is thirty seconds instead of thirty minutes.

What We Do Not Do

Luxury Auto Body is a collision and paint shop. We do body, structural and refinish work. We are not a fleet maintenance provider - oil, brakes, tires, engine and transmission work are not ours, and we would rather say that plainly than take a vehicle in and hand it back half-solved.

We also do not produce wraps, lettering or vehicle graphics in house. Where artwork has to come off for a repair, we note it on the estimate so replacing it is part of the plan rather than a surprise at pickup.

Two Locations, Both Off I-35

8300 N Lamar Blvd in Austin and 1001 Louis Henna Blvd in Round Rock. Route a vehicle to whichever is closer to the job it was working.

Direct Billing

We work with all major carriers and bill them directly, and we are a State Farm Select Service shop - a formal direct-repair relationship that moves those claims through a faster, pre-approved process. We do not accept Fred Loya or Alinsco claims.

Free Written Estimates

Always, with no obligation, whether or not a claim is ever filed. You should be able to see the real number before you decide how to pay for it.

Lifetime Written Warranty

Commercial repairs carry the same written lifetime guarantee on our workmanship as every personal vehicle in the building.
